  • About comics: books about Comics, such as Comic-Con. Located to the left of Manga shelf.
  • Adventure: a new category that includes books from other genres - Biography, Travel, Fiction and Sport. Located next to Native American category.
  • African & Caribbean: split from the ever expanding African & Afro-American Fiction & Non-Fiction. Contains fiction and non-fiction. Don't forget to look there sometimes for fantastic biographies!
  • Ancient History: includes books on Egypt, Greece, Aztecs, Incas and Mayas. Home to handouts on Egypt, Aztecs, Incas and Archaeology Magazines. Located to the left of World History, above Mythology shelf.
  • Anthropology: due to receiving requests for Anthropology, we've created a Sociology & Anthropology shelf, located above Philosophy. Anthropology is a study of human beings and their ancestors.
  • Astrology: separated from Esoterica shelf. Located above it, next to Dreams.
  • Bibles & Qur'ans: located above Christianity, on top hanging shelf.
  • Christian Fiction: a small section located above Christianity, on top wooden hanging shelf.
  • Cities: includes books on cities, which get specifically requested sometimes. Located next to Architecture, under DIY/Trade.
  • Computers / Programming / Technology: a small selection of books on the Popular Science shelf.
  • Dystopia: located on the bottom wooden shelf below hanging shelves, to the left of Star Wars and Star Trek.
  • Economics: split from the ever expansive "Business" category, as we've received requests asking for one and not the other. Business contains sub-categories like Leadership and Finance. Finance focuses on how companies and investors evaluate risk and return. Economics focuses on the big picture. It's located under the Business shelf.
  • Environment: has been created for those asking for nature, natural parks, home-steading, etc. Contains books on nature/ecology and sustainability. Contains books from Science, Travel and other shelves. Located below Gardening shelf, above Popular Science.
  • Esoterica: books that span an array of topics like Shamanism, Life after death, Angelology, Paganism, Witchcraft, Conspiracy theories, Urban legends, UFOs, etc.
  • Math: includes all math textbooks and books; has been separated from Science Textbooks due to the large volume of supply. Located below Science Textbooks.
  • Parenting: is hidden a little on the bottom wooden shelf below hanging shelves, to the right of Dystopia (no pun intended).
  • Role Playing Games: supplies are rare for this category. We have a handout on Dungeon Slayers located there and some more RPG magazines in the closet.
  • Science Textbooks: includes Astronomy resources and many Science magazines. Located below Popular Science.
  • Short Stories: don't forget to use this category, as it is just general fiction in abbreviated form! It's above General Fiction shelf.
  • Sociology: due to receiving specific requests for Sociology, we've created a small Sociology & Anthropology shelf, located above Philosophy. Sociology studies the group life of human beings, and customs and values which emerge from group living. It overlaps with Psychology, Anthropology, Political Science, Criminology, Ethnicity and Race.
  • Spirituality: includes books concerned with inner self, human spirit and the soul. Because it emphasizes personal growth and inner peace of the individual, it overlaps with Self-Help. In most contexts, spiritual books are secular. Located to the left of Self-Help.
  • Vehicles / Trains / Bikes / Planes / Boats: rare and precious supplies, located below Political Science, in the corner.
  • Video Games: a very small section on the Games shelf.
